Today's run was a nice, easy 5 miles, keeping my heart rate under 70% of Heart Rate Reserve. Keeping my heart rate in the right zone was easy for the first 4 miles. The last mile, after climbing the steep hill up from the Isar River Valley, it was more difficult. You can see the change in elevation on the graph to the right, underneath the map. The big dip on the heart rate graph occurred as I was descending the steep hill down into the Isar River Valley.
The weather once again was beautiful. I was able to run in shorts and a short-sleeved running shirt. Temperatures were between 16 and 18°C, it was sunny, and there was just a light breeze.
