Lest We Forget: My Remembrance Day Post is here.

Growth

It's been wonderful watching the growth of our Sphynx kitten, Dragonheart, through the photos his breeder has sent us. He will soon be old enough to join our family, and we will be picking him up on November 25th. We are very excited to have him finally coming home! Sphynx are a naturally hairless breed of cat - they are born that way, and it is perfectly normal for this breed. His breeder says that Dragonheart is going to be a big cat - probably about 15 lbs when he is full grown.

If you want to learn more about the Sphynx breed, you can check out the following sites:

Aya, a naked cat ! Why did you take his furr coat off with this cold ?? He looks really cute, but I have to admit that it looks strange to me although I have already petted a "naked" cat and the feeling is very, very soft. I saw them in a cat exposition here in Brussels. And when you see them besides a long haired cat, that really looks funny. I am sure you will very much enjoy little Dragonheart ! What a name for such a cute little guy !

Cute photos! Love animals! They are so soft and cuddly. Your little kitten reminds me of a wrinkly Sharpei pup, only it is a kitten. Congratulations and enjoy him! :)

Thanks for stopping by. I know the excitement of waiting for new kittens. My folks got me two Ragdolls for Christmas one year, stopping to pick them up on their way to our home.

My brother will be performing at the Bayerische Staatsoper for three performances of Der fliegende Holländer, in December. He does a lot of work in Germany, though his home is based in Vienna. He loves Munich.

I have heard of hairless dogs, but never knew that there is a hairless cat bread.
I think Dragonheart is a wonderful name. :)

Wow, so that's what a Sphynx kitten looks like. Cool! and with being hairless, it is going to make life so much easier (says the owner of 3 hairy cats hehe)

I saw a real live sphynx a few weeks ago in a local cat show. One weird looking creature! It's funny how your Dragonheart too looks so very very old, even if he's just a kitten :)

Thanks for the visit.
