My husband and I were married in Mexico, on the Mayan Riviera, on April 22, 2004.
It was a fairy-tale wedding, and a dream come true. The uniform my husband is wearing is called "Mess Kit" or "Mess Dress". It is the formal Canadian Forces army officer's uniform. My husband is an engineering officer in the Canadian land force (army). His Mess Kit reflects that of an army officer, with some details of the uniform indicating that he is an engineer, and some details indicating his rank (Major)The purpose of the meme is to get to know everyone who participates a little bit better every Thursday. I'm jealous though - I always wanted to live in Germany. I was told that I'd have to learn a rotary valve trumpet and have lessons there though and couldn't afford it when I was unattached!

I love the beach so much. Maybe I can talk hubby into renewing our vows on our 25th on the beach. Your pictures are beautiful.
It looks like an AMAZING wedding. I can't wait for mine. I mean I'm married :-) but we only had a civil marriage ceremony and were going to wait a while for the wedding (long story). We shall wait after my husband gets well to have a nice wedding. Hopefully, in the summer.
