It was a beautiful day for a run. The temperature was between 8 and 10°C and it was partly sunny. When we started, the winds were fairly strong, around 20 km/hr, but the winds died down as out run continued.
It was wonderful to be able to run in shorts and a short-sleeved top in January! We ran through both the Nordteil (Northern portion) and Sudteil (Southern Portion) of the Englischer Garten.
The run felt good, although the legs were getting tired and sore towards the end of the run, but that's to be expected.

shorts and a short-sleeved top? Brrrr. It is warm here, but not that warm. LOL I'm glad that you enjoyed your run. :)

I'm very jealous. I live in Melbourne Australia, and this week it's expected to be between 30 to 37 degrees. Also, the city is cloaked in smoke from nearby fires.
I have to get up at 5am and run in the dark...
Nag Lisa pulled me out of bed at 5 am this morning because Madame wished to eat ! that's why I am here already, couldn't sleep anymore. It sounds like if you had a lot of pleasure running through the park. We have a lot and very big once in Brussels and the city is surrounded by woods. We even have a kind of Hydepark, like in London where people without garden do their pic-nicks. During week-ends the wood is closed for cars. That would be something for you, there is space enough !
I made a blogroll for CATS ON TUESDAY and put it in my sidebar and Mrs. Lifecruiser will help me to put the code on my post.
Let me just say, that is pretty far!
It isn't shorts weather here just yet.
Glad you enjoyed your run! :)
Holy moley! Nice weather for a long run. Great work. My longest run for ages has been 4.5 miles. LOL.
