What great pictures! We used to love spending Sunday afternoon drinking beer in the shadow of the Chinese Pagoda in the Englischer Gardens. Brings back fond and hazy memories.
Found your blog through a search for others related to running. Turns out we have lots of connections including that I am ex-CF (was stationed in Lahr). Hope you'll pay a "return" visit to my blog: www.petermcdrunning.blogspot.com
Munich is a wonderful city. Thanks for sharing your photos My parents (originally from Hamburg) will be visiting Germany in July, I'm sure they will be passing through Munich. Take care, Meow

Many bloggers will be flying Peace Globes in the blogosphere on Wednesday, June 6, 2007. It is BlogBlast for Peace day - the second annual event. Please consider using your blog voice and creative influence on this day to participate. The theme for June 2 is ART - perfect for creativity with a peace globe perhaps? You can find more information about the movement at Mimi Writes or BlogBlast for Peace. I wanted to make you aware of the event. I really enjoy looking at your photographs on Saturdays. I hope you can participate. http://mimiwrites.blogspot.com or http://mimilenox.blogspot.com Thanks and peace! Mimi
I'm a Canadian currently living in Munich, Germany. I love group fitness, horseback riding and running. I've completed numerous 10Ks, three half-marathons, and one full marathon. I'm currently training for the Hamburg Marathon on April 29, 2007.

Wow what a great collection. These places must be amazing in person. Nice set for the five theme this week.
My brother says that Munich is one of his favorite cities in Germany... perhaps it is because he has done quite a bit with the opera there.
Happy Mother's Day!
