#8 - Thirteen Things Caylynn misses about her hubby
My husband has been back in Canada all week (he has to attend meetings twice a year at National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa) so I've been missing him. He's back tomorrow, and he's bringing all kinds of goodies back from Canada. Here are 13 things I miss:
- Waking up next to hubby.
- A kiss and an "I love you" first thing in the morning.
- Cuddling for a few minutes after the alarm has gone off.
- Having him tell me how beautiful and sexy I am.
- Going for runs together.
- Lifting weights together.
- Enjoying other forms of exercise together.
- His hugs.
- His kisses.
- His smile.
- Reading and discussing comic books together.
- Doing all the daily activities of life together: making supper, going shopping, etc.
- His warmth in bed next to me at night.
)(BTW, the photo of my husband is him at our wedding in his formal uniform, called a "Mess Kit" - it is the equivalent of a civilian tuxedo.)

Oh, {{{{hugs}}}} I really miss my husband when he's gone back to North America, too. :) How long of a shopping list did you send him?
Fortunately, phone calls are much cheaper than they used to be.

My hubby was out of town M-F for the last six weeks! I was excited he was going to be HOME, until I found out he was STILL in "training" and is gone from 8am until 11pm. :(

I've recently been interested in getting back into it-I'm just so out of shape and have 2 little kids, and weigh so much more....excuses, I know. Maybe someday though!

The mess kit is nice but I miss the tan DEU's. Before my hubby re-mustered to the Air Force, he was Army and he wore his tan's when we were married. He looked awesome in them.

Actually, he's an engineering officer in the Canadian army, not a Mountie!
The Canadian military engineers Mess Kit is also scarlet, as shown in my hubby's photo. But a lot of people get them confused, since most people just know the red Mountie uniform. ;)
