The finish lines of the 2005 and 2006 National Capital Half-Marathon in Ottawa, Ontario. (Don't have any shots of the finish line from our full marathon. Hopefully we'll get one when we run the Vienna Marathon in the spring.)

Thanks for stopping by. Ah yes, the finishing line.... hadn't thought about that. The finishing line of shopping is coming up... I have to go help my daughter with hers as she just got home from William and Mary last night. Now she's in a panic. Have a wonderful Christmas! My brother finishes his opera in Munich tonight and will get the train back to Vienna on Christmas Eve. He is looking forward to two whole days in his own apartment.

I imagine the feeling of accomplishment when you cross that line is super!

Merry Christmas!

(The other comment that is gone now was me, but with the google merge thing it wasn't my blogger name (my google name differs). Ugh.

Great photos! It's a very creative idea for this week's theme. I am in awe of anyone who can run a marathon. I am not at all the athletic type :)

My photo is up too.
