Today, hubby and I ran 9 miles through the Englischer Garten. It was warm out, between 6 and 8°C, but it was VERY windy. Winds of 30-40 km/hr, with gusts up to 50 km/hr! So we changed direction a lot, so we weren't always running into the wind. Even so, when we were running right into the wind, my pace was considerably slower, and my heart rate much higher. So instead of staying under 70% of Heart Rate Reserve (HRR) my heart rate climbed up to 75% when running into the wind. Still, a good run.
