Soft

Newfoundland QuiltFor Christmas 2005, before moving to Munich, my husband and I received this beautiful Newfoundland quilt as a gift (my husband is originally from Newfoundland.) It is very soft, and warm, and is a wonderful reminder of home (Canada.)

What a fabulous quilt! Quilts contain in a small amount of space, so many varied and deep memories. Would we could all make a quilt of our life to hand down.

There's nothing that says home as much as a quilt and to have one from your own land is a bonus! It's gorgeous.

Ooooo, looks snuggly! And oh so soft. Beautiful choice for The Hunt this week. We could use a warm blanket to wrap up in today - cold cold wind blowing.
