Cats on Tuesday

Cats on TuesdayGattina is hosting a new meme for those of us who are owned by cats, called Cats on Tuesday. Visit her blog and join in the fun.

Our Sphynx kitten Dragonheart discovered a new toy last night. He had a toy that was a tube, with a toy mouse at either end. The mice have feathers for tails, and make a squeaking sound when they are moved. Well, Dragonheart ripped one of the mice off the tube, and proceeded to play with it. He really enjoyed having the mouse free of the tube to play with! You can see some of the photos I took of him playing with it above. He was attacking it, pouncing on it, biting it, and having a great time. I think I'll have to see if I can find some more "squeaky mice" at the pet store for him.

I just love watching cats playing with toys ... they have so much fun. My Bambi loves a little grey mousey, which has rice or something inside, and rattles. It has bunny fur (I think) coating it ... so I guess it smells nice for her !!! She throws it around the room and chases it for hours on end.
Dragonheart is just gorgeous, looks like he is having a ball !!
Take care, Meow

Lol ! what a cat ! It's to cute to see him playing. I made the photos bigger to see better and noticed that he has quite big "bijoux de familles" lol ! I think he will be a big cat, if I look at his paws.

Thank you very much for hosting CATS ON TUESDAY I will put it on my last post.

Hi Caylynn

I've visited from Gattina's Cats on Tuesday.

What a cutie your Dragonheart is. I love playful cats and my boy is over five years old but still thinks he's a kitten! He loves playing chase with me where he will pounce on me then run off and hide and I have to find him. When I do, he pounces out and tears off again. He could play this for hours, I get tired before he does, lol!

Have a great Christmas

Thanks for the visit.
It always seems that the cats love to "change" their toys. They design them as they want. Favorites here are a toilet paper roll (empty), soft balls of various sizes (the better to play soccer with), Christmas ornaments that jingle, and simple pieces of small paper. Add a box and they are set for several hours.

Dragonheart is so interesting to look at. He really does seem to be enjoying that toy! There is nothing so peaceful as watching a cat play!
Thanks for sharing him with us again! And for stopping by and saying hi to my Callie!
